J. Michael Dawson
President
Michael is the founder of Lifeforce Entertainment, and an ardent filmmaker. He has been described as an emerging business innovator with a global approach that is formidable among his contemporaries. An honours graduate of the Vancouver Film School, Michael spent six years working as an first assistant director in the Canadian film and television industry. In 2004 he created the Toronto Film Challenge, and it has since become the largest film competition of its kind in Canada. Most recently he created, and co-produced the first four original web shows for Lifeforce Entertainment. Michael has an insatiable thirst for life and passionately hopes to connect and inspire people thru media.
Chantal Leblanc-Everett
Head of Production
and Development
Chantal is the head of production and development at Lifeforce Entertainment and started in the business at the age of three as a child actor. In 2004 she moved behind the camera after graduating film school in Toronto, and spent several years in casting, working with many of the most prominent casting directors in the country. Realizing her passion for producing, Chantal has since produced short films, the Toronto Film Challenge, and all of the original web content for Lifeforce Entertainment. Chantal is an avid media buff, and enjoys the fast turnaround creating content outside the traditional film and TV system in Canada.
