We’re sponsoring the ‘Streamy Awards’

Lifeforce Entertainment is pleased to be an official patron sponsor the first ever ‘Streamy Awards‘.

The Streamys were created to recognize and honor outstanding achievement for shows produced originally for broadband distribution, and recognizes both the shows themselves and the people who make them possible, through awards in 24 categories covering the arts and sciences of making web television. The winners of the Streamy Awards will be celebrated at a live ceremony, in Los Angeles, on March 28, 2009.

The Steamys are being hosted by the staff behind online video blogs; Tubefilter, Tilzy.tv, and NewTeeVee. (read our recent writeup in Tubefilter). It’s shaping up to be an exciting event with over 50,000 nomination to date, which include our four web shows across multiple categories. The deadline for nominations is tonight and the top nominees in each category will be selected as the finalists. More information on the venue, and cememony details will be announced soon the Streamy’s website.
